Soft washing, not a pressure blast

We clean roofs with low pressure soft washing. We use low pressure and let the cleaning mix do the work rather than blasting the shingles. We treat roofs at 60 psi or less.

What happens on the day

• We look at the roof and the surroundings first, including plants, gutters, downspouts, windows and anything that needs protecting.
• We blow loose debris off the roof and check that the gutters flow.
• We use neutralizer in areas where we determine it is needed.
• We wet and protect the plants and surfaces around the house throughout the process.
• We apply the cleaning mix to the roof and let it work.
• After a short dwell time, we know right away if any spot needs another pass, and we take care of it that same visit. No second trip needed.
• We walk the property with you and clean up.

How long the results last

We recommend roof washing every 3 to 5 years. Roofs under trees, on the shaded north side of a house or in damp spots tend to grow back faster.

Will it hurt my plants?

We take steps to protect landscaping before, during and after the job. Dilution is the solution! We use water and neutralizer to help protect your plants.

Will it damage my roof?

Soft washing is low pressure. A pressure washer on shingles can strip granules, which is why we do not use one on a roof.
